The Time Joey and Jesse Change Michelle's Diaper

Joey tries to be a stand-up comedian, whose act usually includes imitations of cartoon-character voices such as Popeye, Bullwinkle, Pepe Le Pew, Elmer Fudd, and many more. Joey initially slept in the alcove of Danny's living room. However, after complaining of not being able to find privacy, Danny and Jesse reconstructs Danny's basement garage into a bedroom for him. This way if being a comedian didn't work out he had a solid career to fall back on.

In "Joey Goes Hollywood", Joey wins a role in Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello's new sitcom Surf's Up. With the help of Danny, Joey was a contestant on Star Search '90 and receives a rating of 4 stars (highest) by the show's judges. Although initially upset with himself for failing to win Star Search, Joey vows to continue with Stand-Up comedy, because he loves to make people laugh. It is also noted that he plays piano (as seen in season 8's "We Got the Beat"). Joey Pranks the Family

When Danny confronts Joey, they remember the day when they became friends in the 5th grade in 1968, when they protected each other. Per the flashback, it was recess, and young Danny was sitting on a bench with a nosebleed, when their teacher, Ms. Borland ordered young Joey to sit there as well, for causing mischief. The class bully (who was implied to have caused Danny's nosebleed) then approached the two, and started to harass Danny, but Joey drove him off with some insults from his joke book. The bully returned a moment later with Ms. Borland, who was prepared to call Joey's parents, but Danny covered for him. Ms. Borland accepted Danny's word without question, as he was the teacher's pet, and she took the bully to the principal's office, revealing his name to be Sheldon, much to Danny and Joey's amusement.

"See Spock run, yes, see Spock, live long and slobber." He is a member of Duck's Breath Mystery Theater touring comedy troupe (which he claims is clean comedy but "not quite as creepy" as Full House) as well as the host of the series Animal Kidding. Joey meets Cheryl on a triple blind date with Jesse and Danny. Whilst the night does not work out for his friends, he begins to date her.

With this the two became soulmates and planned to bury something meaningful to them. Meanwhile, a younger boy, who turned out to be 5-year-old Jesse, was chasing around girls for kisses, but Ms. Borland caught him as well, and made him sit on the bench with her, much to his delight. At the end of the flashback, Jesse wonders if he still has Ms. Borland's phone number. Joseph Alvin "Joey" Gladstone is a special guest character on Fuller House. A comedian and ventriloquist, he's always bringing the house down with a corny joke or quirky voice.

His dates include Danny's sister, Cheryl, Patty, Stacy, Christine, Roxy, and others. He started dating a woman name Ginger and would end up marrying her having 4 children. Joey just barely edged Jesse out in terms of laughs thanks to the moment when his quick thinking led him to preserve Michelle's used diaper in Tupperware. Of course Joey was an April Fools' Day master. After spending most of the Season 7 episode, "Love on the Rocks," pranking the family, Jesse and the rest of the gang planned an elaborate trick to make Joey believe he had won the lottery. Joey being Joey was way ahead of them, and ready to outprank his family like a pro.

Joey's ability to mimic anyone made him the reigning king of Tanner family comedy. One of his best impressions wasn't an impression at all though — it was giving voice to baby Michelle way back in Season 1. Yes, he specialized in impressions and jokes, but he was great at physical comedy as well. I dare you to say you didn't laugh when he gave Jesse a tongue high five after getting his head stuck in a dirty bar counter. He also founded his own children's entertainment company, F3 Entertainment, in 2000.[citation needed] In 2003, Coulier appeared on season three of The Surreal Life. In 2006, he appeared on the TV reality show Skating with Celebrities on FOX, where he was paired with Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan.

Joey's most successful job is as Ranger Joe on an afternoon children's variety TV show. Ranger Joe's sidekick is his wise-cracking ventriloquist puppet Mr. Woodchuck. In "Radio Days", he is fired when he does not work well with his new on-screen partner, Jungle Jenny, who happens to be the boss's wife. Later in that episode, Joey and Jesse become partners again in an afternoon radio show called, "Rush Hour Renegades" on FM KFLH 95. In 1976, Joey faced Hershel "Stonewall" Binkley in hockey, but he lost, embarrassing him because his family and Danny were watching him during the game in his college days ("Nice Guys Finish First"). While Joey is gone for two weeks on a college tour, the others decide to build him his own bedroom in the garage.

When Joey was 10 years old, he saved Danny Tanner from another school mate named Sheldon ("Pal Joey"). While they wait for everyone else to come home, Danny is mopping the kitchen floor, and praises Michelle's skills as she "mops" alongside him. When the girls come home, Michelle stops them (see Quotes).

In "Driving Miss D.J." (5.20), he reminds Michelle that while she and Stephanie share a room, she must go play elsewhere in the event that Stephanie has her friends over, similar to what Stephanie did when she shared the room with D.J. He reminds her that they can't play favorites, and even preaches the classic proverb "You can't always get what you want in life", and his example is that he wanted to be Fred Flintstone growing up, but he "had too many toes". In "The Heartbreak Kid" (6.16), he reminds Michelle that married people (in real life) have to move out of their initial home, asking if that's what she really wants.
